Ruffo Coli’s craftsmanship is expressed through hand-painted fabrics. This kind of craftwork is usually carried out on French lace or printed tulle, on which brushstrokes of water-resistant pigments are applied by hand.

This special treatment can follow the design printed on the fabric, enriching the original pattern. Sometimes, the paint is made on solid color fabrics and the drawing is done completely freehand. Each hand-painted fabric is unique and valuable, with a precious texture.

Hand painting 1 meter of fabric takes from 2 to 6 hours. Ruffo Coli’s hand-painted fabric is made in the Como laboratory, near the company headquarters.
